Growing Wilder Every Hour!

"I'm a little prairie flower,
Growing wilder every hour.
Nobody cares to cultivate me,
I'm as wild as I can be!
Ha-ha! I'm wild!"

This song was on one of my childhood records. I re-discovered it a year or two ago, and have loved it and sung it ever since. Thanks to Elizabeth Joy at Wildflower Morning for the chance to share it!

  2. You did post it! I'm so glad you did. Now, I'm trying to remember the tune again.

    Wilder and Wilder still,
    Elizabeth Joy

P.S. What a cute little horse. He doesn't look one bit wild. What a high class name you gave him.

  6. I'm wondering if we had the same album. I listened to it when I was young. I've tried to find it again but no luck. I adored this little ditty, and sing it all the time and teach it to youngsters.
