"I'm a little prairie flower,
Growing wilder every hour.
Nobody cares to cultivate me,
I'm as wild as I can be!
Ha-ha! I'm wild!"
This song was on one of my childhood records. I re-discovered it a year or two ago, and have loved it and sung it ever since. Thanks to Elizabeth Joy at Wildflower Morning for the chance to share it!
That is fun song. My post is about a childhood song too.
ReplyDeleteYou did post it! I'm so glad you did. Now, I'm trying to remember the tune again.
ReplyDeleteWilder and Wilder still,
Elizabeth Joy
P.S. What a cute little horse. He doesn't look one bit wild. What a high class name you gave him.
perfect... ha ha ha.. made me smile. I think that's what Elizabeth Joy had in mind.
ReplyDeleteHow fun is that! To bad you couldn't sing it for us! :)

ReplyDeleteI remember hearing that song somewhere ........
ReplyDeleteYour post was short and sweet!!
I'm wondering if we had the same album. I listened to it when I was young. I've tried to find it again but no luck. I adored this little ditty, and sing it all the time and teach it to youngsters.
