When I first began reading this post it reminded me of my Dad making my sister and I Barbie furniture - and I am upset to have to say that they did not make their way to me - and I would sure have LOVED to have had them. I think they were actually given away- to someone outside of the family. Never had the chance to even get them- was never told they were getting rid of them. Oh well- I have made sure that the things that the boys had that they would want later on have been saved in a box for each of them.
